Brandon C.
Brandon C. Head is the Founder & CEO of The Carlwell Group. Growing up in Millersville, MD, Brandon was introduced to filmmaking and videography at an early age. As his passion for videography and storytelling grew, he went on to study his craft academically. Brandon received an associate degree in Visual Art with a concentration in Digital Art, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Media and Design from Towson University.
While completing his education, Brandon worked with the Department of Defense. Ultimately, he would go on to complete two tours of duty during the Afghan War and was recognized for his service, receiving two Global War on Terrorism medals and a Non-Article 5 NATO medal. Despite his commitment to serving his country, Brandon’s passion for video never faded.
In 2018, after leaving Federal service, Brandon continued honing his craft by producing short promotional videos. First for local artists, then for a growing list of businesses. The requests for interview style videos, commercials, and various other video formats continued to pour in. As demand for his unique approach to storytelling grew, so did his vision for his company.
The Carlwell Group receives its name from the shared moniker of Brandon and his grandfather, Carlwell Head. The name pays homage to Mr. Head’s legacy and his unique ability to convey lessons through storytelling. As a world history teacher, Mr. Head loved to use Greek Mythology to impart wisdom and instill values. The lessons he shared have become enduring hallmarks of our brand today. In fact, Atlas upholding the world in our logo is an adaptation of elevating the world’s vision and was inspired by Mr. Head’s teachings.
